Combining his love for literature and passion in writing, Jason spends a portion of his spare time teaching literature and writing. He helps students taking the International Baccalaureate (IB) with:

  • English-A (higher and standard levels)
  • Theory of Knowledge
  • Extended Essays

In addition, Jason counsels pre-matriculation students on:

  • university applications, personal statements and interviews
  • standardized public exams, including SAT (verbal), GMAT (verbal), LSAT and LNAT
  • career choices

Apart from teaching high school students, Jason provides assistance to adult learners who speak English as a second language with:

  • English conversation and business/situational vocabulary
  • negotiation, public speaking and presentations
  • job interviews, CVs and cover letters

Between 2018 and 2020, Jason collaborated with Cha: An Asian Literary Journal to give writing workshops to asylum seekers in Hong Kong.
